This year Pentecost Sunday is May 24. When Jesus ascended into heaven, he told his followers to prayerfully prepare for the coming of the Holy Spirit. They would be “baptized in the Holy Spirit” and receive “Power from on High.” Together, we will seek, and pray, that each of us be strengthened in the gift of prophetic inspiration from the Holy Spirit so we can be led by the Holy Spirit as missionary disciples and Spirit-filled evangelizers, bringing the Good News of Jesus to many people who still need to encounter Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
